On Nov. 2nd, the girls volleyball team earned a spot in the BACSAC Division B playoffs. The team lost in the first round to Arise High School, but they ended their season with many fun experiences, allowing them to learn and make many new connections.

Junior Lucija Adams said, “I learned how to work in a team, meaning that we all win together and lose together.” This volleyball season, teamwork was a huge part of learning. Junior Q’orianka Davis said, “We all became much closer throughout the season.”

Teamwork is what supported the girls when playing against other teams, allowing them to gain trust in one another just like setting for a teammate to spike the ball over the net.

Ending the season with a record of 4-4 gives the team time to grow and learn so that they are ready to dominate next year’s season.

Coaches Jessica Arellano, Jennifer Castro, and Taima Beyah led the girls throughout this journey.
